Airport Rentals - Frequently asked questions

How do I find the location of the depot?

When you make a search, you will be presented with a list of available car rentals. Each vehicle will include a link to the location of the depot. For example, if you were searching for car rentals at Las Airport, you will see a link saying Las Vegas McCarran Airport, with a location underneath, e.g. Rental Car Center or Free Shuttle. Click on the link for the depot location and more information about picking up your rental car.

How do I modify or cancel my booking?

Once you've booked, you can then manage your booking by logging in with the same email address you used to book. Depending on which company you have hired a car from, you will then have the option to modify or cancel your booking.

Can I return my rental car after hours?

This depends on the company, but the key thing to know about after hours returns is that you need to organise this in advance. You can either do this by specifying the return time when you make a search, as only companies who allow drop offs at that time will show. Or, you can check the terms and conditions of the rental company to make sure they allow after hours returns and then arrange it at the rental counter. It's important to note that after hours return may require an extra fee.

How old do I have to be to hire a car?

Generally, you need to be at least 25 to hire a car, but this is dependent on the location and the rental company. Some will hire cars to people between 18 and 24, but will offer fewer vehicles and have a higher excess. There may also be an extra fee. You can specify your age when you make a search to see what's available.

What extras can I add to my car rental?

If the rental company offers extras, you can add these during the booking process. Extras can include child seats, GPS, mileage and more. Just click on 'Show Extras' from the Extras and protection page when making a booking.
