Zürich Airport is situated 10km north of the city, and the route between the two is very straightforward. From the airport, follow the Butzenbüelring outside the terminal towards the A51. At the 63-Zürich-Nord, keep in the right 2 lanes to merge onto the A1L, and follow the signs into the Zürich’s CBD.
If you’ve made arrangements to pick up your hired car from the city, there’s a train running direct from the airport to the city, as well as busses and taxis.
