On the western shore of Guam, looking out over Tumon Bay, is Tamuning - a village making up a third of the wider Tamuning-Tumon-Harmon municipality which is the centre of economics, tourism and industry in the Micronesian US territory. It is close to Guam’s primary airport and centrally located, therefore a great spot from which to begin exploring the island.
As well as being directly adjacent to Guam Airport, Tamuning is very central to the rest of Guam. Barrigada and Hagåtña are close by, and beyond the more settled areas lie the natural gems and friendly villages that make up beautiful Guam. Pack your road trip essentials and set out on a self-drive adventure to remember!
