The island of Aruba is tucked away at the bottom of the Caribbean Sea, and hosts the beautiful capital of Oranjestad. Colourful Dutch Colonial architecture lines the streets, cruise ships pull into the docks at the marina, festivals fill the calendar year, and white sand beaches wrap around the city’s waterfront.
Visit Aruba’s oldest building (Fort Zoutman), shop for locally made products at the markets, wine and dine in style at one of the restaurants, or indulge in some delicious street food. Whatever you do, the best way to get out and see the city and the country is by renting a car in Oranjestad.
